an le 150x300 Public Service FellowAn Le is CAPAL’s first Public Service Fellow who is serving as CAPAL’s Program Manager. She will help develop CAPAL’s diverse programming and lead in institutionalizing existing knowledge. Prior to joining CAPAL, An served as a Fellow for the Center for Government Leadership at the Partnership for Public Service where she provided operational support for leadership development programs to strengthen innovation in the federal government. Previously, An served a one-year term as an AmeriCorps member at the Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Los Angeles, where she recruited and trained volunteers to become advocates for children and youth in LA’s foster care system. An graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Sociology, with minors in Education and Urban & Regional Studies. At UCLA, An was involved in various student advocacy, education and outreach groups as a tutor and peer advisor for local high school youth. An also coordinated various conferences and programs which focused on promoting higher education amongst educational disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles. Contact An
