2017 CAPAL Board Informational Session

July 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

| Free

The Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) was originally founded in 1989 by seven AANHPI professionals in D.C. with a mission to empower Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) youth by increasing access to public service opportunities and building a strong AANHPI public service pipeline. Since then, we’ve grown from an all-volunteer nonprofit organization to one with up to 20 volunteers on its board and two paid full-time staff. We recognize that each board member brings a unique set of skills and experiences, and are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals who believe in our mission and are driven to strengthen CAPAL’s unique model for developing the next generation of AANHPI leaders in public service.

If you are interested in learning more about CAPAL and the unique opportunities serving on its Board could provide you, register for CAPAL’s Board Recruitment Information Session at Fiscal Note, on July 17th from 7-8pm.

We encourage you to join our mailing listlike us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest updates.
