CAPAL organizes regular professional development programming throughout the year in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Events are open to professionals from all sectors who have an interest in public service and/or the Asian Pacific American community. These events generally occur on a monthly basis and include networking mixers, speaker panels, and roundtable discussions.

CAPAL hosts an annual Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Career Fair each summer. The AANHPI Career Fair is a unique opportunity to match AANHPI students and young professionals with top employers in the Washington, DC area. A broad range of federal and local government agencies, non-profits, and private sector employers attend each year. Our career fair is free and open to the public. Click here for more information.

AANHPI Leadership Roundtable Series

 Professional DevelopmentThe AANHPI Roundtable Series provides an informal and intimate space for the public, particularly young AANHPI professionals and students, to engage with AANHPI leaders in government, policy and nonprofit work. The series is intended to provide a candid perspective on what it means to be AANHPI and have a career in public service. Free and open to the public but pre-registration is required.
