CAPAL organizes regular professional development programming throughout the year in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Events are open to professionals from all sectors who have an interest in public service and/or the Asian Pacific American community. These events generally occur on a monthly basis and include networking mixers, speaker panels, and roundtable discussions.

CAPAL hosts an annual Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Career Fair each summer. The AAPI Career Fair is a unique opportunity to match AAPI students and young professionals with top employers in the Washington, DC area. AAPI Leadership Roundtable Series
The AAPI Roundtable Series provides an informal and intimate space for the public, particularly young AAPI professionals and students, to engage with AAPI leaders in government, policy and nonprofit work. The series is intended to provide a candid perspective on what it means to be AAPI and have a career in public service. Free and open to the public but pre-registration is required.
