At my internship with the USDA APHIS, I will be working with Procurement and User Fees and my CAP project is with CAPAW<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

How does this internship fit with your professional and career goals?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My goal is to work with politics and government, and this internship will help me by giving me an understanding of how a government agency works with all its moving parts.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you hope to achieve this summer as a part of CAPAL\u2019s 2022 cohort?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a part of the cohort, I hope to gain experience that will help me in my future, as well as meet new people and make connections.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does public service mean to you? What sparked your interest or desire to get involved with public service?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have always been passionate and vocal about political and social issues. Eventually, I realized that I could pursue this as a career and make meaningful and long lasting changes in the political and public service arena. To me, public service means taking action to fulfill people’s needs and create the best environment to benefit their livelihoods.<\/span><\/p>\n
