With this in mind, CAPAL is proud to announce the 2013 Summer Interns and Scholars.<\/p>\nThe Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) aims to develop leadership and knowledge of public policy within the Asian Pacific American (APA) community to promote APA interests and success in public service careers. Our ultimate goal is to educate, to build APA leadership and to serve the APA community at large.<\/p>\n
With this in mind, CAPAL is proud to announce the 2013 Summer Interns and Scholars.<\/p>\n
CAPAL supports APA representation and achievement through the CAPAL Scholarships, awarded to outstanding APA college undergraduate and graduate students to serve in an unpaid public service internship in the Washington DC area. The CAPAL Federal Internship Program places interns in a diverse range of internships within the Federal government in DC and in out-of-state regional offices.<\/p>\n
This summer, we welcome 19 CAPAL Interns and Scholars, the largest class in CAPAL history:<\/p>\n
