Students and Young Professionals
The annual Networking and Career Fair is an unique opportunity for students and young professionals to interact with top employers in the Washington, DC area. This career fair is free and open to the public. A broad range of federal/local government agencies, non-profits, and private sector employers have attended past CAPAL career fairs.
“I have attended CAPAL’s career fair for the past two years here in Washington DC. I am always amazed at the caliber of talent I see each year. The students are very well prepared to have meaningful discussions around their career goals, as well as intriguing insights into how and where they may fit into the mission of our organization. I look forward to our continued support of this event and others at CAPAL.” –Tamieka Jones, AARP
Employers
For employers, the career fair is a unique opportunity to meet and recruit qualified students and young AANHPI professionals in the region.
“Every year is rewarding! USDA Rural Development (RD) has participated in CAPAL’s career fair for the past 3 years. The students and recent graduates that participate are of high caliber and seem genuinely interested in learning more about RD and what we do. Even when we do not have positions actively available, we still participate to provide outreach and information about our organization. RD is a proud supporter of CAPAL and looks forward to participating in the career fair next year and years to come!” –Dominique Brown, RD Student Employment Programs Manager
