2019 Government Accountability Office Information Session
June 25, 2019 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) is an independent, nonpartisan agency that works for Congress. Often called the “congressional watchdog,” GAO investigates how the federal government spends taxpayer dollars. Join CAPAL at an Informational Session on the GAO to hear from their experts as they explain the process of providing Congress with timely information that is objective, fact-based, and nonpartisan. Discover how you can become involved with the GAO through an overview of the careers and opportunities that exist within the agency. This event is free to the public, but seating is limited. Please register online to reserve your seat. Lunch will be provided.
